Dr Masem Afzal is a Consultant Rheumatologist (Muscle, Joints and back pain specialist) He completed his post-graduate Medical and Rheumatology training in the U.K. He is also privileged to be a member of the Royal college of Physicians (UK) and Royal college of physicians and surgeons of Glasgow. After the award of membership by these two prestigious organizations, Dr. Masem Afzal embarked upon a two-year post-graduate MSc degree in Rheumatology from University of Manchester. He is expert in the treatment of all kinds of Rheumatic diseases and wherever required he use musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of these diseases. He is currently practicing at Omar hospital Lahore and Central Hospital Gujranwala His main interest is the use of Musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatic diseases (Arthritis).
